We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with laser cutting technology. This role involves operating laser cutting machines to fabricate high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety standards and production specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machines to produce precise parts according to engineering specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication tasks.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute production schedules effectively.
Use hand tools and other machinery, such as milling machines and lathes, as needed for part fabrication.
Safely operate forklifts and cranes for material handling within the production area.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with laser cutting technology and plasma cutting processes is highly desirable.
Proficient in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience operating hand tools, milling machines, lathes, cranes, and forklifts is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
