Sales Reporting and Analytics: You will be responsible for the development, enhancement and ongoing management of established sales analytics and reporting. You will need experience of market leading CRM applications (preferably Tableau and MS Dynamics, though Power BI would also be beneficial). We primarily use Tableau for the gathering, transformation, analysis and distribution of sales and client information across the enterprise. As such, you will need to be highly skilled in Tableau Creator/Server and have a working knowledge of SQL and databases structures. To be successful you will need to quickly acquire a detailed knowledge of the available information set at BNY Mellon, how you can leverage that information and where limitations necessitate a more creative approach. The team has developed an expansive library of queries, reports and dashboards that will need to be maintained and continue to evolve in step with the business. You must be comfortable learning by inspection able to de-bug and refactor complex reports in a time-pressured environment.

Candidate Requirements:

Knowledge and experience:
• 4 – 6 years prior experience at a leading bank in similar roles – with extensive exposure to Sales functions and processes
• At least 3 years in a data analytics role

Skills:
• Logical thinker with demonstrably strong analytical skills
• Highly skilled in Tableau Creator, Server and Prep
• Working knowledge of SQL and database structures
• Experience of CRM platforms and data
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements to technical solutions
• Experience in creating/maintaining user friendly documentation
• Ability to identify risks and offer ways to mitigate during requirements gathering phase
