About the Job
As our hybrid Legal Assistant/Office Coordinator, you would be a crucial member of our day-to-day lives, in and out of the legal world. Your desk is stationed in our reception area and you will be the face of our law firm. This role is perfect for someone who likes to keep a clean house and takes pride in their career. You will work closely with every department of the law firm at any given time. The role is extremely dynamic and requires someone who can think on their feet and maintain a well-organized catalog of all ongoing tasks. In addition to typical paralegal work like filing motions, calling the courts, organizing discovery, etc. You will be managing the office building, handling client billing as needed, attorney/court calendaring, as well as one-off tasks for the company condo, company car, and all company equipment. Sometimes, this role includes doing some dirty work, like cleaning up after a leak, airing up the tires on the company car, or changing the internal battery on a laptop. You will be trained and assisted by our remote HR & Operations Manager on all tasks until you’ve learned to fly on your own. You will not get bored with this role, as there is always something different to do and something new to learn.
