About the Role:
Working closely and collaboratively, you will:
Provide crucial legal support to solicitors, including maintaining case management systems, preparing court documents, and creating comprehensive briefs and depositions.
Assist with file management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, including Corrections Victoria, counsel, police, and other government agencies.
Prepare correspondence and documents to support legal proceedings.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and supporting opportunities to enhance divisional processes and participate in new initiatives.

Proven ability to provide administrative support in a complex, confidential, and sensitive legal environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
A strong capacity to work effectively as part of a team to maximise efficiency and outcomes.
A proactive and innovative approach to continuously improve processes and systems.
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

The Salary for this position is VPS Grade 2.1.1 $60,2+5 per annum plus superannuation
