Location: Chennai/Pune/Bengaluru
Must-Have
• Work in Shift to provide 24x7 support
• Database patching plan, certification and Apply necessary patches and fixes.
• Database backup and recovery process- Should be able to backup/logs which are moving to TSM and how can we perform retore in case if it’s required.
• Disaster Recovery configuration. Test and implement disaster recovery plans like DRIP,etc.
• Incident Management- Incident monitoring, Different type of incidents , SLA, KB articles on common incidents.
• Change Managsement - Database reorg, runstats, index rebuild,Application release changes, Review of complex stored procedure and complex queries etc. data movement utilities like import/export etc. Ad hoc backup/restore activities, database stop/start activities, Privileges grant/revoke activities etc.
• DB2 Decom change- Complete Process for DB isolation, database drop , instance drop.
Good-to-Have
• Trouble shooting for inefficient application queries / performance issues, deadlock, locking, connectivity issue, jobs not running, privileges issues etc.
• Attend Hotline calls and provide support
• Receive and acknowledge all automated alerts by creating tickets as required.
• Monitor the overall health and environment of the databases.
• Execute and monitor routine service health checks
Essential:
