Machine Operator

Job description
Now hiring several machine operators at a manufacturing company in Louisville, CO.

1st available!
• 1st shift = Monday – Thursday, 4 am – 4 pm

Pay: $20-$23/hour depending on shift & experience

The machine operator assistant will be working with the Pouch machine operator. The machine operator assistant will perform various manual and mechanical duties to aid in the set up and operation of their pouch machines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Assist operator with the pouch machine
• Correctly set up and run machine to expedite quality and run speed
• Maintain production standard of quality and effective run rate
• Follow material handler procedures
• Maintain quality control check sheet, and production and waste reports
• Continually check the equality of the pouches during the production run
• Inform pouch operator of any defective material, maintenance issues and safety issues
• Clean and maintain equipment for the next production run
• Package finished product at one of several workstations as assigned
• Quality control checks and data entry
• Trash and trim removal
