This position is an opportunity to apply and expand your skills in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of packaging and filling equipment, as well as ensuring smooth line changeovers and setups
You will also be expected to handle lock out tag out procedures, read and interpret blueprints, and have a strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors
Perform preventative maintenance on packaging and filling equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and repair packaging and filling equipment, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime
Handle line changeovers and setups efficiently and effectively to ensure smooth transitions between product runs
Adhere to lock out tag out procedures to ensure safety during equipment maintenance and repair
Read and interpret blueprints to understand equipment layouts and operation
Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues in equipment
Perform mechanical maintenance on various components including motors and conveyors
Work with pneumatics systems, understanding their operation and performing necessary maintenance and repair

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Packaging Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.
