About the Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has opened for the position of Manager, Strategy and Government Relations. In this role, the Manager will lead strategic policy development and ministerial coordination efforts within the Department for Energy and Mining.
The Manager will play a key role in providing the Chief Executive and the Minister's Office with well-informed, timely, and impactful advice on matters of strategic significance or priority for both the Department and the South Australian Government.

Key Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated success in policy development, implementation, evaluation, and/or reform experience.
Significant expertise in one or more government policy priority areas such as energy, mining, the environment, or infrastructure.
Knowledge of or experience in the Australian resources, energy, or sustainability sector.
South Australian experience advantageous.
The ability to explain complex concepts succinctly and clearly to senior decision makers and executives and the ability to successfully negotiate outcomes.
Qualifications:
Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification or significant equivalent experience.
Remuneration:
MAS3 salary $127,85+ per annum + superannuation.
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
Special Conditions:
Out of hours work may be required.
Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
