Overview:
The Business Manager for US Healthcare Staffing is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations, recruitment, and business development activities in the healthcare staffing process. The role focuses on recruiting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs) for various healthcare facilities across the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare recruitment and demonstrate a deep understanding of staffing dynamics, regulatory compliance, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
• Lead and manage a team of recruiters specialized in CNA, LPN, and RN recruitment.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the recruiting team to ensure high performance.
• Set recruitment goals and monitor team performance against these targets.
Recruitment Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top-tier healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a steady pipeline of qualified CNAs, LPNs, and RNs by leveraging online platforms, job boards, and social media channels.
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to placement.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics.
• Understand client staffing needs and tailor recruitment efforts to meet those needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues related to staffing services.
Business Development & Growth:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare staffing industry.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define business development strategies and growth initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the staffing landscape.
Compliance & Regulatory Management:
• Ensure that all recruitment processes adhere to federal and state healthcare regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare staffing laws, such as HIPAA, OSHA, and state-specific licensure requirements.
• Oversee credentialing, background checks, and verification processes for candidates.
Operational Oversight:
• Manage day-to-day operations, including recruitment workflows, candidate assessments, and placement logistics.
• Optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and scalability in healthcare staffing.
• Analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management to track success and areas for improvement.
Financial Management:
• Oversee the budget for the staffing division, ensuring cost-effective recruitment strategies.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and reports, ensuring profitability and financial health of the staffing division.
Technology & Tools Management:
• Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline hiring processes.
• Stay updated on industry-specific recruitment software and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in US healthcare staffing, with a focus on recruiting CNAs, LPNs, and RNs.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and credentialing requirements for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Proven experience in managing recruitment teams and driving business growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Proficiency in ATS, CRM systems, and other relevant recruitment technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with multi-state healthcare staffing.
• Knowledge of visa and immigration processes for healthcare professionals (if applicable).
• Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
