About the team

Currently based out of Melbourne, our Marketing and Communications team supports 10x studios/teams across the world, collaborating with leaders and local reps to deliver a broad mix of strategic marketing and communications activities.



This is an exciting time to join us – as we pivot to a new and ambitious marketing strategy, we’re taking the opportunity to reflect on what skills and experience could contribute to, and possibly expand, what we do.



You might be an early career professional with 3 - 5 years of post-grad experience.
You might have 10 – 15 years’ experience with exposure to strategic planning at a company-wide scale.


We’re open to candidates with a wide variety of marketing/communications skillsets and experience levels, and are keen to hear what you could bring to our practice.



Whatever your level of experience, you’ll be part of the team that drives and contributes to:



Global marketing strategies and initiatives;
Awards submissions, PR campaigns, advocacy, and industry outreach;
Advisory support for studios, project design teams, and business leaders;
Content creation for our website and social media channels; and
The development of engaging visual assets and marketing materials.


Our team is highly collaborative, offering the unique opportunity for mentorship from experienced professionals. Equally, there is space to operate with autonomy as you support and advise a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.



About you

We’re looking for someone who enjoys:



Crafting and editing well written communications and pieces that delight, engage, and meet the brief;
Brainstorming with creative people, supporting them to shape and refine their ideas;
Pitching to media outlets, and engaging with industry bodies to find opportunities;
Coordinating, collating, and organising – think awards submissions portals and industry conference pitches;
Variety – as a small team, we all roll up our sleeves when needed to keep things moving smoothly. We see this as an opportunity to have impact at all levels in the practice.


Ideally you’ll have experience in these areas, as well as exposure to operations at a global or national scale. Experience in a creative / design / project-based industry is important, whether this is landscape, urban design, architecture, interiors, construction etc.



This opportunity is full time, with scope for hybrid working – we aim for at least 2 – 3 days in-studio. The Marketing Director is based out of Melbourne – ideally the successful candidate will be based out of Melbourne or Sydney, however for candidates with aligned experience we are open to considering other AU locations in which ASPECT operates.
