Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (ANZSCO 233512)
We are seeking three experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our teams in Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia.
Position Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design, analyse, and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Design and Development:
Develop and design mechanical systems and equipment according to project specifications.
Prepare and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints for manufacturing and installation.
Project Management and Planning:
Plan, manage, and oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical systems on project sites.
Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, and identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
Analysis and Problem Solving:
Conduct mechanical analysis to evaluate design performance, and optimize systems for efficiency and durability.
Implement troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments for mechanical issues, proposing effective solutions.
Testing and Quality Control:
Conduct testing of systems and equipment to confirm compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Maintain records of inspections, testing results, and maintenance activities.
Client and Team Collaboration:
Communicate project updates, technical information, and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, for seamless project delivery.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols for equipment installation and maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within industrial or manufacturing settings.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and methods.
Familiarity with industry regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a client-focused approach.
