We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Brake Press and Roll Form Operator to join our metal fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press and roll forming machinery to produce precise metal and trim components according to specifications. This is a roofing and metal siding shop that manufactures these products. This is a hands-on position that plays a vital role in our production process.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate brake press and roll forming machines to bend, cut, shape, and form metal sheets and trim products.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine production specifications.
Adjust machine settings for speed, material thickness, and bend angles to meet job requirements.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, protractors, etc.).
Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or potential quality issues; make adjustments as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Work closely with the fabrication team and production supervisors to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in metal fabrication is a plus.
Experience operating brake press and/or roll forming equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is an asset, but willing to train the right person.
Home Construction experience is an asset.
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and material types (steel, aluminum, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication documents.
Proficiency with measuring tools and attention to detail in quality control.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Forklift certification is a plus.
