The Position

Position title: Multi Site Coordinator

SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Community Support Services support people in regional communities across Eastern Australia to live better lives
through education, social and community participation, coaching and capacity building, service coordination and
transport services. We support parents, carers, families, children, people with disability, aged people, transport
disadvantaged, and small regional communities.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of the Transport Multi-Site Coordinator (MSC) is to oversee the transport operations for
multiple locations across regional NSW. This includes scheduling of drivers and vehicles to provide efficient transport
service, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service, administering operations, and managing and
supporting Transport Liaison Officers (TLO’s), Transport Service Officers (drivers) and volunteers.

RELATIONSHIPS

Reporting to Transport Program Manager
Working closely with Transport Liaison Officers, Transport Service Officers and volunteer drivers.
Building and maintaining relationships with local community networks and customer base
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with
responsibilities of the role.

Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
Experience in administration and personnel management, ideally in a transport or logistics setting.
A demonstrated commitment to the care and protection of service users.

Well-developed administrative skills to manage scheduling responsibilities.
High quality communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead, and work

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the Co-ordination of transport services to match the needs of our customers and carers.
Actively promote and drive increased use by local communities of transport services including Community
Transport, NDIS funded transport, Commonwealth funded transport, commercial transport and contracts,

targeted transport contracts (e.g. Point-to-Point, On Demand) held within your allocated geography.

Facilitate the provision of appropriate tools for staff to carry out their roles effectively ensuring all
qualifications/training are up to date.

Support TLO’s, drivers and volunteers via regular meetings and professional development.
Effectively communicate with Transport staff and volunteers regularly to assist and coach them in the
delivery of service excellence.

Assisting Transport Management to ensure that services are operating within budget.
Ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of each transport service office the MSC ss responsible for.
Promote, develop and maintain positive partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders including
Transport for NSW (TfNSW).

Support staff to ensure efficiency of functions including timesheets, monitoring leave and reporting.
Assist staff with goal setting and realisation for performance improvement.
Manage low-medium complaints in line with policy.
Lead and monitor daily dispatch and completed trip verification in the Transport Management Systems.
Complete timely reporting of information required by funding bodies, stakeholders and LiveBetter
management.

This position may be required to perform the function of a data steward, overseeing and maintaining
relevant components of the transport data for the organisation.

Undertake driving responsibilities as required.
RISK
Managers of LiveBetter are responsible for incorporating risk and opportunity management into their standard

management practices by:

1. Understanding LiveBetter’s risk and opportunity management principles and foster a risk aware culture

within their areas of responsibility.

2. Identifying and determining appropriate actions to address risks within their area of responsibility in

accordance with LiveBetter policies and procedures.

3. Documenting their risk and opportunity management processes by developing and maintaining a register

of risks

4. Upward reporting of significant emerging or residual risks.

5. Ensuring the inclusion of risk and opportunity management responsibilities in duty statements, induction,

professional development, and performance management processes for all staff within their area of

responsibility.
