Occupational therapist position in Sydney
We are seeking a new Occupational therapist to join our team in Sydney. As a telehealth and mobile service, we require someone to join our team with excellent self -motivation and an autonomous work ethic.
Qualifications & experience
Essential requirements:
Degree or post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport with clients, careers and professionals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent
organizational, time management and record-keeping skills
Excellent self -motivation and proven autonomous working skills
Current Working With Children's Check
Have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
Own a laptop or computer
Current Driver’s License and access to a car
Tasks & responsibilities
Assess and provide intervention to referred clients
Write comprehensive reports and maintain appropriate clinical documentation
Plan and deliver effective and evidence-based therapy services
Maintain and update their clinical skills through professional development
Be able to work independently, but will have access to resources, supervision, support, professional development and colleagues within the service.

The Role:
Help clients with various presentations, focusing on interventions for behaviors, sensory processing, emotion regulations, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and activities of daily living.
Help school-aged children and young adults.
Administer assessments and reports
Deliver therapy Face-to-Face at client's residence and via Telehealth where appropriate;
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years experience
