About the Role
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Outpatient Frontline Administrative Receptionist to join our team at the Repat Health Precinct and CALHN Outpatient Support Services. In this key role, you will provide confidential clerical and administrative support while ensuring a welcoming and efficient reception service. You will play a vital role in assisting clinical staff with patient documentation, appointment procedures, and general administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of outpatient services.
As a multi-skilled team member, you will be expected to work both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating a high level of trust and responsibility in your duties. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare environment will be essential. About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Outpatient Administration Officer who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong communication & teamwork skills – Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organisational & problem-solving abilities – Proven experience in managing multiple tasks, working under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
Administrative expertise & computer proficiency – Skilled in Microsoft Office, data entry, and hospital systems, with strong attention to detail.
Commitment to confidentiality & patient care – A professional and patient-focused approach with a strong understanding of medical terminology and office procedures.
