Hi,
• Minimum 6 years of experience in implementation and administration of Zabbix monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of creating new infrastructure, application login pages, and communication templates.
• Extensive experience with Zabbix customization (with evidence).
• Familiarity with Zabbix extensions, plug-ins, and configuration (evidence required).
• Proven experience in application monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and dashboard visualization.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools:
• Ansible for configuration management and deployment of Zabbix agents.
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows to automate Zabbix object updates.
• Writing Ansible playbooks for Linux/Windows hosts, including:
• Installing Zabbix agent packages.
• Configuring zabbix_agentd.conf with server IP and hostname.
• Ensuring service enablement and firewall adjustments.
• Creating GitHub Actions workflows:
• Triggered on push or pull request.
• Using Zabbix API or CLI tools to apply changes (e.g., templates, items, triggers) from Git repository to Zabbix server.
• Secure handling of Zabbix credentials via GitHub Secrets.
• Knowledge of Zabbix API for automation and integration.
• Familiarity with YAML, JSON, and scripting (Python/Bash) for Zabbix automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and GitOps for monitoring configuration management.
