Primary objective
Source and analyse information from various ICT environments to deliver objective, accurate and quality-assured routine and ad
hoc reports that meet the needs of NT Government client agencies.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Gather, analyse, and manipulate data to generate routine reports for client agencies and assist to action more complex and
differentiated reporting requests, including for national and regulatory reporting obligations.
2. Project manage an allocated case load of client agency business requests, encouraging self-service of available information
through proactive client engagement.
3. Investigate and interpret client agency business requests and develop appropriate responses to meet evolving service
demands, ensuring a flexible and sustainable approach to data collection, analysis and reporting.
4. Provide high-level administrative support including administering security and access on reporting infrastructure and assisting
with procurement and contract management matters.
5. Undertake validation activities to ensure the effective delivery of routine and ad hoc management and performance reporting
in line with service delivery standards.
6. Support continuous improvement and a client focussed approach to service delivery .
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Working knowledge of and proven experience using enterprise business intelligence applications and tools for effective data
management, analysis, and reporting, e.g., SSRS (SSQL Server Reporting Services), Power BI, Business Objects, Crystal reports,
dashboards.
2. Knowledge of and experience with business systems, SQL-+2 or later and T-SQL, data domains and Atlassian tools, e.g., Jira
and Confluence.
3. Knowledge of project management methodologies including governance and risk management frameworks and practical
experience contributing to procurement and contract management activities.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills including proven ability to negotiate outcomes and resolve conflict and develop
effective working relationships with stakeholders and clients of diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
5. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, innovative,
and respectful.
Desirable
1. Tertiary Qualifications in a related discipline, e.g., ICT, Business Administration.
2. Relevant ITIL® (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) qualification or similar certification.
