Overnight Guest Service Agent
About Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street
Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street combines old world charm with modern luxuries! This stunning hotel in the heart of the CBD features 244 stylish guest rooms, including 10 spacious suites, a restaurant and bar, fully equipped gym and meeting & event spaces.
About the role
As an Overnight Guest Service Agent, you will review financial reports, investigate anomalies, reporting any discrepancies to the Front Office Manager, Night Manager and Finance team. You will also review daily revenues against guest receipts and reports and investigates any anomalies. This role also includes hotel reception duties, including guest service, check-in/out of guest and assisting with guest enquiries. Specifically, the role will include:
Greet guests upon arrival and check them in/out of the hotel, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
Balance daily revenue and expense transactions, including cashier’s checks, credit cards, debit cards, and other forms of payment
Assist with night audit duties, such as reconciling accounts receivable, posting charges, and verifying accuracy of billing information
Assist the manager on duty in emergency situations
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a customer service role. Hotel or accounting experience will be highly regarded.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Pride in ensuring the accuracy of work and actively encourages the same standard from Team Members
Computer literate, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Able to work on a rotating roster
Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
Well-presented, organised and calm personality
