Role Responsibilities:
• Managing the payroll function for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
• Overseeing and processing payrolls from start to finish, including tax and pension deductions, statutory payments, and year-end reports
• Liaising with clients to handle payroll queries, providing advice on compliance with HMRC regulations
• Managing and training junior staff, ensuring the smooth running of the payroll department
• Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation and keeping up to date with any changes
• Collaborating with the wider team to provide payroll insights for advisory and business support services
• Managing payroll-related projects and ensuring all deadlines are met

Candidate Requirements:
