Our Team

The People & Compliance Manager plays a meaningful role within Vista’s Australia People Team. This position supports the strategic delivery of our people and safety agenda while also ensuring high quality, consistent operational execution across our HR and Safety team. Partnering closely with the Head of People & Culture – AUSNZS & HRBP, ANZS, this role helps drive continuity, capability uplift, and development for the local team, with a particular focus on building a strong, values-aligned culture across 270 team members across three entities in Australia.

As a vital team leader, this role partners closely with people leaders, senior stakeholders, and global HR colleagues to operationalise and embed Vista’s people strategy within a fast-paced and values led environment.

What You Will Do

Provide support to the Head of People & Culture – AUSNZS, including participation in forums, approvals, and regional representation as needed.
Support the local coordination requirements of core processes such as mid-year and year-end performance reviews, talent calibration, engagement actions, and organisational planning for Australia.
Drive compliance and governance activities such as local policy reviews, contract changes, and regulatory obligations.
Support preparation and coordination for the Vista Enterprise Agreement renewal and related employee engagement activities.
Coordinate employee lifecycle initiatives including onboarding, offboarding, and case management with the support of HR Advisors.
Provide subject matter expertise on employment law, risk mitigation, and workplace culture.
Guide and support HR Advisors and the Safety Lead to develop their professional capability and decision-making confidence.
Lead projects across key areas such as engagement, workforce planning, learning, and change.
Champion data-informed decision-making through insights, dashboards, and reporting.
Your Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Human Resources roles, particularly in business partner positions, preferably in a matrixed or global organization
Strong operational HR experience across employee relations, compliance, performance, and lifecycle delivery
Solid understanding of Australian employment law and industrial instruments, with exposure to enterprise agreements highly regarded
Excellent relationship building, communication, and problem-solving skills
Confidence using data and systems to guide decisions and track performance
Experience navigating change and scaling processes
Nice to Have

Prior experience in a 2IC or deputy HR role
Understanding of safety frameworks and employee wellbeing models
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or eCommerce environments
Proficiency with Google Workspace
Project management or Agile experience
