POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Pricing Manager, the Pricing Administrator will be an important member of CVP Pricing Team. This is a full-time role on a temporary contract that could potentially lead to a permanent contract.
You will help us to further develop our online pricing strategy/tactics and to ensure that we maintain accurate and current product pricing across the vast range of manufacturers, categories and products that we sell. In an extremely competitive market place and with over 30,000 product lines available online and through our account management teams, you’ll appreciate this is no mean feat!
Our pricing accuracy, relevance, clarity, and accessibility is of key importance to CVP’s customers whether they buy from us via the website, through telephone or face to face transactions and has arguably helped us to grow.
As a Pricing Administrator you will work closely with our Pricing Manager and other members of the Pricing Team to make sure that we are accurately pricing products on our web site and internal systems/databases. You’ll monitor competitor/market pricing activity, liaise with suppliers for pricing information, work closely with the data administrator to prepare price listings for approval and play a key role in communicating pricing information both within CVP and to our customers. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, good attention to detail, good excel (and database) skills and a pro-active and positive approach.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Assisting in preparing pricelists
· Preparing price-lists for approval
· Updating price match links (where we monitor and check pricing in the market place)
· Checking new and existing price matches and ensuring they are still valid (removing bad links, old expired links, and errors, etc)
· Maintaining competitor links within our internal IT systems/database
· Taking email and phone inquiries regarding pricing when required
· Preparing import duty codes (Commodity/ Tariff Codes) for products
· Reviewing and presenting import duty codes for approval
· Liaising with suppliers for up to date pricelists
· Monitoring (supplier) price update frequency
· Updating and correcting supplier details on our main database system
· Assist with updating web prices
· Other relevant tasks as requested by the Team/Manager
Skills Required
· Intermediate to advanced Excel (and good computer literacy overall)
· Ability to manage large datasets
· Great attention to detail, able to spot mistakes, highly accurate in your own work
· Proactive and able to work on own initiative
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to make recommendations based on information/facts
· Ability to prioritise workload
· Able to work as a team
Desired Experience:
Ideally you’ll have already worked in a retail/e-commerce environment where you’ve gained 6 months+ experience in pricing. An interest in the AV and broadcast industry would be a benefit with a passion for work, an enthusiasm to learn and develop and a willingness to get involved with commercial pricing.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday- +.00am to 5.30pm
Salary/Remuneration
The salary for this position is £2380+.50 per annum plus bonuses.
