Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with vendors to supply the business with cost-effective solutions for the movement of freight.
Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to develop competitive pricing strategies.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to create accurate and timely quotes for customers.
Maintain and update pricing databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Evaluate customer contracts and assess profitability to optimize pricing models.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve pricing effectiveness.
Focus on continuous improvement through process improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on pricing preferred.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
