Job description
EdEx are currently working with a long-standing client primary school in the Borough of Camden, to find a vibrant and engaging Teaching Assistant to join their team! This diverse primary school is currently looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join their team supporting pupils within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) as well as pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs). If you are a graduate who can contribute to this primary school's 'respect, resilience, and readiness' values then this role is for you!
Within your role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide general support to pupils with their education as well as targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay and Down Syndrome. You will also assist with the management of the class, carry out interventions and deliver programmes tailored to children's needs.

Primary Teaching Assistant- Job Description
• Teaching Assistant providing SEN & EYFS Support both group / 1:1
• September 2024 Start
• £105- £110 per day
• Full-time, full academic year, term-time only (no weekends)
• Based in Camden
Primary Teaching Assistant - Role
• Provide support for pupils across EYFS & Reception with SEN & behavioural requirements
• Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions.
• Use your creativity and compassion to excite and educate the pupils
• Strong inclusion team to support you and the pupils
Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant
• Previous experience working with children.
• A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities!
