Procedure Centre Support Coordinator

Manage and work alongside a team of Patient Support Services staff to deliver a high standard of care to patients within STARS Procedure Centre including Operating Theatres, Pre-operative, Post Anaesthetic Care Units (PACU) 1 and 2 and Endoscopy Suite through the delivery of high quality cleaning, patient handling, porterage, waste, and support services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Coordinate and perform cleaning and patient assistance activities, ensuring efficient services are provided using best practice processes, safety and quality principles, and budget integrity
Attend meetings and disseminate information to ensure Patient Support Services staff are aware of updates or changes that could impact their roles.
Promote and demonstrate the standards outlined in the Queensland Health guidelines for Environmental Cleaning.
