What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga  

In this newly created role, you will focus on refining operational processes and identifying opportunities to enhance overall efficiency. By working closely with our Centre Network and Contact Centre teams, you will assess and optimise processes with the goal of improving experiences for both members and employees, promoting a culture of process excellence within the NZAA.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Understanding current processes using techniques like flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, or process narratives
Root cause analysis of process inefficiencies or problems through techniques such as Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys analysis, or Pareto analysis to uncover underlying issues contributing to process bottlenecks, error, or delay.
Proposing and present recommendations for optimising processes.
Collaborating closely with stakeholders across different departments or teams involved in the process.
Support workshops, interviews, or internal focus groups to gather insights, validate findings, and ensure alignment on proposed improvements.
About You | Mōu  

You will have proven experience in a process analysis, process improvement or a similar role. You can use your analytical skills as well as attention to detail to collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements.

Experience in a related industry, customer service, finance or insurance desirable
Ability to break down complex processes, identify key components, and use root cause analysis techniques (Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis) to diagnose process issues
Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with stakeholders and experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and internal focus groups.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in creating flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, and process narratives using business process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart), with desired experience using Nintex Promapp.
Willingness to travel regionally as required.
