In this role, you'll be a vital part of our production team, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of our plant. About the Role:

As a Production Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, handling raw materials, operating machinery, and maintaining a safe and organised workspace. We value teamwork, clear communication, and a strong drive to achieve results. You'll be part of a collaborative team where your contributions are recognised and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Extruder Operation: Expertly operate the extruder to meet production targets and quality standards, performing routine maintenance as required.

Raw Material and Product Handling: Safely and efficiently manage raw materials and finished goods in accordance with production schedules and safety regulations.

Plant and Equipment Operation: Operate all plant equipment, tools, and software, including SCADA systems, MS Office Suite, and other internal systems.

Work Environment Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe processing facility, ensuring all equipment is ready for use.

WHS and OHS Compliance: Proactively manage workplace health and safety, identifying and reporting hazards, and participating in safety training.

Individual Development: Actively participate in training opportunities and contribute to your professional growth.

Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, communicate clearly, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Drive and Initiative: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, take initiative, and strive to exceed expectations.

Skills and Experience:

Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Current and valid forklift license and proven experience.
Ability to operate and maintain machinery.
Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of SCADA systems or similar software is a plus.
Ability to problem solve.
