Job Description:

Position: Production Planning Trainee
Location: Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary: ₹12,000 - ₹14,000 per month

Objective:

To support the production planning team in managing and optimizing production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources, and meeting production targets. This role involves coordinating with various departments to streamline production processes and improve overall efficiency at SWAIN ALUMINIUM PVT. LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
• Production Scheduling: Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders and optimal utilization of production resources.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent production delays.
• Resource Allocation: Support the allocation of production resources, including labor and equipment, to ensure that production targets are met and any potential bottlenecks are addressed.
• Data Analysis: Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Assist in generating reports and insights to support decision-making and process enhancements.
• Process Coordination: Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues affecting production efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant data. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance production processes and implement best practices. Provide input on potential improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Any Degree
• Skills:
• Strong in Mathematics: Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical calculations and analysis, essential for accurate scheduling, inventory management.
• Basic understanding of production processes and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience in production planning, manufacturing, or a related field is desirable but not required.
