As the Program Administrator, Business and Technology programs, you will support the administrative, financial and communications functions for the business program area. Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, the Program Administrator is an important member of the Business Science & Technology (BST) team and often the first point of contact for applicants to the Division of Continuing Studies. The Program Administrator supports the administrative, financial, and communications functions for business program area within the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS). Responsibilities include registration management, program application processing and review, assistance with program development & delivery, processing and maintenance of financial records, financial reconciliation, payment preparation and processing, and administration. Due to the diversity of this program area, the Program Administrator must work independently and possess an excellent understanding of the Division and University of Victoria policies and procedures, particularly when working with students and instructors.
While assignments to program areas can and will change based on operational needs, the current position’s responsibilities will include a suite of courses, programs and micro-credentials within Business, Management and Technology.
Job Requirements
Experience:
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to three years’ experience working within a comparable environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Experience composing various business communications such as emails, memos and reports.
Experience scheduling meetings and calendar coordination.
Experience in maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
Experience with pre-planning and recording meetings.
Proficiency with computer applications (i.e., MS-Office Suite, Adobe Create Suite, content management systems).
Specialized Knowledge/Education:
Knowledge of UVic policies, procedures and regulations regarding students is an asset.
Knowledge of UVic systems, including OASIS, Brightspace, FAST and Banner is an asset.
