Project Engineer
Basic Qualification :-
A recognized bachelor’s /Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university with working experience
Preferred Qualification :-
Experience in Oil & Gas Projects including Petrochemicals and LNG facilities (Liquefaction/Regassification Unit).Experience in executing Large Infrastructure Projects like Technological Buildings, Rail & Aviation Projects, Datacenters.
Essential Job Duties:-
Provides oversight management of technical documentation to procurement, construction, and third parties for assigned units/facilities.Co-ordinates technical and commercial reviews on engineering outputs from the project / program, reviews contract documentation.Undertakes design co-ordination meetings with construction at various phases includingimplementation of Design for Safe Construction Procedure for assigned units/facilities.Instigates and reviews TIC reduction opportunities / proposalsEnsures that statutory and company specific design reviews are undertaken and are in accordancewith QA procedures in place at the timeHas full technical responsibility for planning, interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating the engineering assignments and activities on the project in liaison with the India Office PEM.Establish / manage the engineering budget, quantity, quality, and cost and maintains ownership, and ensures execution within approved budgets for assigned units/facilities.Complete ownership in managing the statutory and company specific design reviews i.e., 3D Model Reviews, HAZOP, LOPA, etc. Ensures that requisite supporting documentation is completed on schedule and open issues are resolved with client.Establishes / manages and reviews the engineering project schedule for assigned units/facilities.Ensures the facilities are designed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner in accordance with policies and all applicable laws, regulations, authorization basis, codes, standards, and technical requirements.
Job Knowledge :-
Ability to present technical design issues to customers and suppliers and the ability to recommend solutions based on knowledge and experienceUnderstands BSAPS and uses tools for digital data delivery.Proficient execution planning, resource allocation skillsWorking knowledge of industry / regulatory standards and design criteria within the engineering disciplinesStrong working knowledge of project control systems, estimating procedures, procurement systems /proceduresWorking knowledge of construction practices and procedures.Ability to develop innovative ideas to reduce project total installed costs (TIC).
