Job Description: Project Coordinator

Location: Lake County, IL (Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days remote per week)

Contract Length: 6 months

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning and execution of our company's global learning and development program. This role will play a key role in organising and coordinating the annual Development Week and other learning initiatives for our global employees. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in organising large-scale events, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Utilise tools like Microsoft Project and Smart sheet to support project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Facilitate Execution: Track project progress, monitor tasks, and help resolve issues by collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Communication: Regularly report on project status and communicate updates through meetings and reports.
• Support Development Week: Assist in the planning and execution of the Annual Development Week, ensuring smooth logistics, coordination, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with various cross-functional teams to implement effective project management practices.

• Remote Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, One Drive, SharePoint, and other remote collaboration tools.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and dynamic work environments.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience: 2-3 years in project management or related field, preferably in a learning & development or corporate training environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required (post-secondary education appreciated).
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
