Project Manager on W2

Title: Project manager

Location: Tampa, FL (Need local candidates only)

Contract :W2 Role

Experience in project management, or working with a Project Management Office (7+ years);
Experience managing projects in accordance with the PMI s standards as presented in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide) (4+ years);
Experience working with IT (7+ years);
Experience in IT strategy and planning experience (3+ years);
Experience managing application development projects (3+ years);
Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS);
Experience using the Scrum framework to manage at least one (1) project;
Experience facilitating requirements gathering and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions;
Experience managing documentation in Microsoft (MS) SharePoint;
Experience with the Information Systems Development Methodologies (ISDM);
Experience with state government projects;
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification;
Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related field

Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations;
Perform systems analysis and design needed for the planning, development, and implementation of IT systems;
Develop design and functional specifications which will provide the best solution for new application development and ongoing maintenance of existing applications;
Recruit project staff and consultants in a manner consistent with the demands and complexity of the project(s);
Set standards and best practices for Applications Development team;
Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed;
Assist Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of Client.
