• Expertise in Scala, Spark, Hadoop, PLSQL
• Experience in AML & Compliance Portfolio
• Basic understanding of banking and financial services domain to understand requirements
• Familiarity with agile development methodology / JIRA and requirements backlog management.
• Involvement in development projects, with exposure to Financial Crime Compliance areas such as Client Lifecycle Management, Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
• General development environment skills (code control, IDE’s), understand processes such as unit testing, documentation, design
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Develop and implement data models to support business strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements.
• Utilize machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics.
• Design and maintain analytical dashboards for stakeholder reporting.

• Facilitate workshops to foster data literacy within the organization.
• Collaborate on projects involving advanced analytics frameworks.
• Engage in continuous learning to adapt skills to evolving data landscapes.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Proven experience in analytics or data-related roles.
• Good understanding of machine learning concepts and applications.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
• Ability to manage large datasets effectively and efficiently.
• Proficient in database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Experience in leveraging cloud-based analytics solutions is a plus.
• Prior experience with risk assessment or fraud detection is advantageous.
• Knowledge of data governance principles is preferred.
• Willingness to engage in continuous personal and professional development.
