St Luke’s Grammar School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist who is suitably qualified and enjoys working in a collaborative team. The successful applicant will be willing to contribute to the co-curricular life of the School and, ideally, be a Christian and actively involved in their church.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide professional, friendly service to students, staff and guests
Greeting and assisting students, parents, staff and visitors
Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages as needed
Managing incoming and outgoing emails, both external and internal
Handling general inquiries from parents and the community
Ensure sign-in/out protocols are maintained for all visitors
Maintain a neat and tidy reception area
Respond in a timely manner to enquiries - either face-to-face, by phone or by email
Receive deliveries and direct as required
Manage administrative aspects of school events
Follow-up unexplained absences, initiating contact with families when necessary and Refer First Aid matters to Nurse.
Managing lost property and student belongings
Undertake any other duties as requested by the Principal
