An exciting opportunity is available for a Receptionist to join the Administration Services team at Burnet!
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the front desk area and performing reception services, including the operation of a multi-line telephone system. In addition to reception, you will provide additional administrative support as part of the administration pool.
As the first point of contact for Burnet, you will have a friendly and professional approach with all callers, visitors and members of staff. In this role you will ensure quality of services meet the expectation of the organisation, as well as develop and maintain effective working relationships across the Institute with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will also:
Organise courier bookings, prepare or source required customs proforma documentation as required for international items.
Ensure only deliveries for Burnet staff members are accepted and recipients of deliveries are advised in a timely manner.
Schedule meeting room and videoconference bookings as requested.
Complete the workflow process for staff travel.
Provide assistance for event logistics.
Manage and sort incoming and outgoing mail.
Provide Donation reception support as required.

The following criteria are essential requirements:
A minimum of two years of experience in a front desk reception or specific office administration role (e.g. Receptionist, Administration Officer / Assistant / Coordination or equivalent)
Strong customer focus
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
High level computer skills including Word and Excel
Good organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to liaise with a wide variety of people
