POSITION OVERVIEW

The Receptionist plays a key role in the administrative team, acting as the initial point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors. This position involves overseeing front desk operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and being a reliable member of the administration team. The Receptionist helps create a welcoming environment that mirrors Calgary Fastener’s & Tools dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Greet customers, vendors, and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude.

· Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.

· Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department.

· Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing.

· Process customer credits.

· Reconciling Day-End and completing Daily Posting.

· Filing

· Good communication skills, written and verbal.

· Demonstrate organizational skills.

· Capable of working independently and in a team environment.

· Maintain proficiency in using the computer, office equipment, and software.

· Ability to utilize current technology, such as Microsoft Office and associated programs.

· Follow company policies and procedures.

· Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· 2-3 years experience in a related industry.

· Superior customer service skills.

· Exceptional listening, communication (verbal and written), and phone etiquette.

· Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.

· Problem-solving abilities.

· Accuracy and attention to detail.

· Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

· Professional demeanor.
