The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The successful applicant will provide efficient and effective front of house service along with administrative and clerical support to whole school. They will be first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils and staff (either in person, email, on the telephone or other media) and as such is of central importance to the image we present.
The position requires the applicant to:
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive approach to working effectively with all members of the school community
• Have a knowledge of SIMS and working in a busy school office would be an advantage, but it is not essential as all training will be provided for the right candidate
• Have the ability to prioritise as well as self-motivate
• Be flexible
• Have competent computer skills
• Enjoy working in an environment where children are at the centre of all that we do
