Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, At-Will
Reports to: Events Manager
Department: Sales and Marketing
Location: Remote within Farmersville or Tulare, CA, with up to 20% travel within the service areas.
Work Arrangement
This position is predominantly remote, enabling you to operate from your home office. A personal phone and internet connection are necessary, with reimbursement provided in accordance with company policy. Occasional travel to various offices or external locations is anticipated.

This opportunity is exclusively available to remote candidates residing in California. Applicants outside of California are not eligible for remote employment at this time.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and sustain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and stakeholders to promote collaboration.

• Plan and execute engagement events and activities aimed at increasing visibility and participation.
• Represent the organization at community meetings and events, advocating for its mission and values.
• Conduct outreach initiatives such as site visits and discussions with community leaders and agencies.
• Organize and facilitate events including workshops, forums, and public engagement activities.
• Manage event logistics, encompassing venue selection, promotion, and post-event evaluations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and enhance event outreach.
• Maintain an outreach calendar and contribute to the organization’s website content.
• Utilize data and feedback to refine engagement strategies and evaluate impact.
• Conduct research to comprehend community needs and provide insights for initiatives.
• Gather and analyze engagement metrics to improve outreach efforts and report outcomes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, social work, or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or event planning.
• Valid driver's license (subject to verification) and the ability to travel up to 20%.
• Proficiency in English (required); Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Familiarity with HubSpot and post-event analysis tools is advantageous.
