About the role The role is required to manage VeriFone India's banking business, with the person being the functional expert and first point of contact for clients. The individual would be responsible for delivery of business / financial results while managing all aspects of the relationship and ensuring the proper execution of VeriFone's contractual responsibilities The role will be to handle Sales for India and South Asia region. It will involve team management. What qualifications will you need to be successful Overall 15 years of progressive experience in payments domain Experience within the Payments or POS industry across Asia Pacific with expertise in selling Products, Solutions & Services Solid conceptual understanding of new technologies in Payment solutions is a must Familiarity with Payment / POS industry standard certifications and compliance is a plus Demonstrated proficiency in spearheading business operations with keen focus on accomplishment of growth, revenue & profitability targets. The wealth of expertise should cover selling Products, Solutions & Services Proven track record of superseding predefined targets and accomplishing consistent growth in turnovers. Must have demonstrated matured approach to balance hunting and Farming Possess business growth expertise viz. breaking new avenues & driving business growth activities, including developing partnerships and ecosystems Hands on experience in charting out sales strategies and must have launched new products and services and business scale up Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills - ability to build relationship with important internal and external key stakeholders Strong time management, organizational skills Self-driven with the ability to prioritize and work independently with limited management direction Aptitude for emerging technologies - ability to learn new technologies and understand how to apply this knowledge in current role
