Position Overview:
We are seeking an ideal candidate with extensive experience and working knowledge of property management or sales management to join our team as a Sales Manager. This role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities within the cleaning services and facilities management sector, specifically targeting condominiums, apartment complexes, and office buildings across Toronto.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, capable of positively representing our company and effectively promoting our services. You will strategically develop new business relationships while nurturing existing client partnerships, ensuring continuous growth and client satisfaction. A key component of this role is achieving monthly sales targets through proactive outreach, customized proposal creation, and collaborative internal teamwork.
Job description
1. Sales Management
Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities within the cleaning services and facilities management sector (condominiums, apartments, office buildings).
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Lead engaging client meetings and presentations to showcase our cleaning solutions tailored specifically to each client's unique needs.
Create detailed proposals clearly outlining pricing structures, service details, logistics, and contractual terms.
Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through proposal negotiation to final contract signing.
Consistently achieve monthly sales quotas by proactively tracking progress toward goals.
3. Proposal Creation & Negotiation
Develop customized proposals highlighting specialized cleaning services such as carpet shampooing, marble polishing, natural stone restoration, and wood floor restoration.
Negotiate contract terms effectively to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both clients and the company.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are clearly understood and met throughout service delivery.
4. Internal Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with internal departments—including operations staff, to ensure seamless coordination of all projects.
Provide regular updates to management regarding business development activities, sales progress, client feedback, and overall performance.
5. Brand Representation
Act as a positive ambassador for our company at all times—emphasizing quality service delivery, expertise in facilities management solutions, reliability of our team members.
Maintain professionalism and positivity when interacting with clients, vendors, partners, and internal colleagues.
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking
Regularly monitor sales performance metrics including lead conversion rates, revenue generation targets achieved, and client retention rates.
Prepare comprehensive reports for management highlighting key sales achievements as well as identifying areas for improvement.
Analyze sales data regularly to uncover trends or opportunities that can drive further business growth.
Develop and implement strategic plans to grow our client base through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and utilizing digital marketing channels.
Establish strong relationships with prospective clients by effectively communicating our company's values and service offerings.
Secure new contracts through persuasive presentations and tailored proposals.
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Proven ability to generate leads and close deals in a B2B environment.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned area.
Job Details:
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $5000 per month + Commission
Work Schedule: Flexible (40 hours per week)
Location: Toronto (Office/ Remote/Office hybrid)
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel within Toronto (travel allowance provided)
Qualifications & Experience:
Professionals with extensive experience in property management or sales management are strongly encouraged to apply.
Proven track record in business development or sales roles within related sectors preferred.
