Role: Regional Sales & Business Development Manager

Sector: Packaging, CGI, Premedia

Location: London

Full time/Permanent

Remote with occasional travel to clients.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Commission & Bonus.

Portland Search are supporting a global digital, technology and media solutions organisation that provides integrated solutions across Print, Mobile, Video, Social and Technology. Their capabilities extend across conceptualisation, best packaging design, content adaptation, 3D Visualization, artwork production, content distribution, reporting and analytics.

The Role:

As part of their UK expansion, our client are seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager for the UK. The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team and process the ability to drive business development activities.

Responsibilities:
• Understand company objectives, and conduct market research to evaluate opportunities, identify potential partners, set pricing, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts
• Contact potential clients, inform them of company products and services, and solicit new business
• Prepare action plans for UK market together with the sales team in the search of sales leads and prospects including their follow up to generate sales and secure sustainability long-term.
• Create, negotiate, and close deals that maximize price/market share and deliver on the client’s and agency’s marketing objectives and expectations.
• Map competition (Sales strategy/Programs/Clients) and use market intelligence to develop strategies to maximize market share.
• Deliver maximum value on deals by collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization (PRS, Operations) and taking complete ownership of deal execution, client servicing and post evaluations of campaigns.

Key Experience Required:
• Strong skills in Prepress, CGI and Premedia workflow knowledge.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required
