The opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a Salesforce Administrator/Analyst to join the Elders Insurance Operations Team on a permanent full-time basis. Elders Insurance, part of the QBE Group, operates an agency network distributing general insurance products and is one of Australia's largest regional and rural insurance providers.

Your new role

As our Salesforce Administrator/Analyst you will work as part of a dedicated Salesforce support team to ensure we are maximising the efficiencies and capitalising on the full features and benefits of Salesforce for our Elders Insurance business. Your responsibilities will include:

Actively manage support queries and requests from users, including assistance with reporting, campaigns and templates

Identify, investigate, and resolve user issues, which may include working with multiple IT Teams to resolve

Manage escalated incidents and service requests to ensure timely resolution, monitoring and addressing performance and availability issues and escalating to development team where appropriate

Assist with day-to-day Salesforce administrative functions including user account setup and maintenance, permissions and sharing rules, password resets, data updates via Data Loader, building and running adhoc reports

Manage the system change process alongside the development team including coordinating testing activity, ensuring quality outcomes are delivered and stability of the systems are maintained

Work closely with various stakeholder groups, business units and user groups to drive uptake and embed usage

Actively explore process improvements and ways of increasing efficiency

Support activities aligned with major Salesforce enhancements

About you

To be successful in this role you will proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, preferably in Financial Services/Insurance. You will also have;

Ability to provide a high level of customer support and communicate effectively

Proficient Excel skills

Experience working on projects and as part of a project team

Ability to support end user training via multiple formats including face to face

Highly motivated – solution focused and responds to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace

Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to users and other employees of the organisation
