Minimum 2-3 years public/private accounting experience in a large organization (think $MM or $B in size) with in-depth SEC / external reporting
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
Proficient computer skills, especially Excel

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Financial Reporting Manager and VP of External Financial Reporting and will play a fundamental role within the organization's accounting and finance team
The Senior Accountant is primarily responsible for assisting with the month, quarter and year end close and provides support to the accounting and finance team
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual schedules including the reconciliation and roll forward of various accounts
Assist with the management of share-based equity awards
Gather financial data and documentation used for external reporting
Assist with requests from external and internal auditors in connection with quarterly reviews/annual audits
Prepare consolidated reporting and analysis for senior management as needed
Perform other ad-hoc financial and accounting projects as needed

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – EXTERNAL/SEC REPORTING
ARC Group is looking for a Senior Accountant with strong external SEC reporting to join our client in their Miami, FL offices in a hybrid role. This External Reporting Senior Accountant is a direct hire with a publicly traded Fortune 500 and requires you to currently have permanent US work authorization.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Financial Reporting Manager and VP of External Financial Reporting and will play a fundamental role within the organization's accounting and finance team. The candidate must have a solid foundation in financial reporting and accounting and must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to meet strict deadlines and possess strong organizational skills.

POSITION SUMMARY:

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – EXTERNAL/SEC REPORTING RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES:

• B.S. in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years public/private accounting experience in a large organization (think $MM or $B in size) with in-depth SEC / external reporting
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Excel.
