We are seeking dedicated and passionate High School Teachers for many subjects to join our educational team, The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic success. This role requires a strong commitment to teaching, the ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs, and the capability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
Provide individualized support for students with varying academic abilities, including those in special education.
Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance and behavior.
Utilize technology and educational software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, to enhance learning experiences.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Skills

Must be an Ontario Certified Teacher.
Strong written communication skills for preparing lesson plans, reports, and correspondence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for managing classroom data and documentation.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students of varying backgrounds.
Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus for engaging with diverse student populations.
Experience or knowledge in teaching Math is preferred.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment.
Understanding of special education practices to support students with unique learning needs.
