Able to walk, sit, stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, lift (exerting force up to 50 pounds), carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 125 lbs
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Arizona Driver’s License the ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 60 days of employment
Responsibilities
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide general support for campus security related tasks; to patrol buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized entry; and to assist in the assurance of student safety on campus and during the school day and during special district activities
By example and enforcement, assist with student safety needs by regulating appropriate behavior and enforcing school policies
May be asked to monitor in-school suspension
Patrols and inspects doors, windows and gates, school grounds, cars and parking lots
Confronts unauthorized persons and questions
Calls police for assistance according to emergency action plan
Prepares reports including documentation for emergencies, vandalism, disturbances, and names of individuals entering in the evening
If appropriate - updates travel and maintenance logs for security vehicles
Responds to calls for services or emergencies including but not limited to student incidents, burglar alarms, fire alarms and calls regarding conspicuous persons
Performs other duties as assigned
