Senior Accountant Role Summary:
This is a senior accounting position that requires leadership and advanced technical skills. The successful candidate will oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, implement credit control strategies, and manage payroll and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the accounts payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Direct the accounts receivable function, including strategic allocation of payments and optimization of cash flow.
Implement and manage advanced credit control strategies to minimize bad debt exposure.
Supervise preparation of detailed timesheets for weekly and fortnightly payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Oversee entire payroll process, including resolving complex payroll issues and integrating payroll data with financial systems.
Develop and present comprehensive budget reports to management team, projecting business profitability, and conducting variance analysis
