Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, perform account reconciliations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and supervise accounting staff. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and working with auditors and other financial professionals.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and experience in accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial reporting and preparing financial statements
• Experience with account reconciliations and managing accounts payable and receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and supervise accounting staff
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is preferred
