Job Overview

A Senior Accountant is responsible for executing various financial procedures, including monthly financial statement preparation and adherence to GAAP. This role will also assist with audits and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Collaborate with the internal audit team and Controller to oversee SOX compliance.

Assist in designing and monitoring internal controls (Sarbanes-Oxley 404).

Prepare assigned journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Assist with the preparation of 10-Q/10-K financial statements and related footnotes.

Prepare supporting schedules for interim reviews and annual audits.

Perform technical accounting analyses for new accounting pronouncements.

Assist with audits, compliance, and tax-related activities.

Identify process improvement opportunities, recommend solutions, and implement changes.

Other duties as assigned.
