Job description
A Boston-based Commercial Real Estate is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its dynamic team. This role requires extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance within the commercial real estate sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset to support the company's growth and financial stability.
• *This position will sit onsite 3 days per week in Boston**
Highlights:
• Ensure timely reporting, analyze financial statements, prepare budgets, forecasts, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage tenant information in MRI software, maintain knowledge of tenant leases, and prepare CAM & RE tax calculations and billings.
• Approve check runs, initiate cash transfers, enter cash receipts, and manage monthly tenant billings.
• Prepare annual workpapers, collaborate with external auditors, and prepare capital draw requests.
• Provide accounting support to clients and staff, respond to inquiries, assist with budget preparations, follow up on tenant delinquencies, and assist with invoice coding.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience
• Strong Excel skills
