Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Global Media operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).
Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT.

Job Description
THE ROLE: Senior Accountant, Sales & Marketing
Perform general accounting, reporting and analysis functions and special projects for the Sales & Marketing business areas for A+E Global Media brands A&E, History, Lifetime, FYI, Crime & Investigation, History, History en Español, Military History Channel, Lifetime Movie Network, Lifetime Real Women, ViceTV, as well as the Company’s digital and international outlets. This position acts as the primary accounting liaison with the Sales & Marketing budget managers and divisional finance partners of A+E Global Media.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Collect and review high volume of accrual submissions from the budget managers of the Sales & Marketing sub-departments within Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, Consumer Marketing and Research business areas; work with them to reconcile accrual tracking spreadsheets that are utilized to book monthly accruals. Ensure all accruals are in compliance with US GAAP and the Company’s accounting policies, the account coding are correct and accrual spreadsheet issues are resolved. Book all monthly accrual and adjusting journal entries during close processes and when required for manager’s review.
