Role impact & contribution
Join NSW Treasury as a Senior Communications Advisor and become the driving force behind our internal communications! In this dynamic, hands-on role, you'll coordinate, deliver, and monitor a wide range of internal communications, ensuring our messages are clear, consistent, and engaging.
You'll develop and execute communication strategies for key internal campaigns, particularly supporting our HR and corporate services teams. Your creativity will ***** as you manage content for e-newsletters, intranet, events, emails, speeches, and videos. You'll also project manage and deliver all-staff events, both in-person and virtual.

Building strong relationships with internal partners, you'll support the creation of impactful communication campaigns. You'll maintain and manage content on the Treasury intranet, ensuring quality and consistency across all channels. Additionally, you'll oversee the internal communications brief process and partner with the wider communications team to achieve key business goals.

What you can bring to the role.
In this integral role there are a few things we would like you to have to add value to the people of NSW.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or other related area and/or equivalent industry
Experience in internal or external
Extensive event management experience.
Strong written and verbal skills and an open communication
Strong understanding of Sharepoint or other intranet platform.
Attention to detail with excellent planning and organisation
Experience working with Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.

Eligibility
